In whose cherished memory this Trust was established, keeping the lamp of education alight.
Smt. Narsamma Hirayya Shaikshanik Trust is a leading institution working in the fields of education, culture and social service. It was founded on the generous vision of the late Smt. Narsamma Hirayya Mannewar, who donated 12 acres of land for educational purposes. Bringing that vision and dream to life, our institution has grown into a comprehensive educational campus. Today, we proudly serve as an educational centre that seamlessly blends traditional Indian values with modern educational practices, providing quality education from primary school through to advanced research opportunities.
To uplift all sections of society through quality education, cultural enrichment and social service.
To build a society where every individual has equal opportunity for education and Indian culture thrives.
Truth, Service, Education and Culture — these four pillars are the soul of our Trust.
Smt. Narsamma Hirayya Shaikshanik Trust
The Shri Ram Panchayatan Mandir stands as the spiritual heart of our campus, born from the generous vision of our founder, Smt. Narsamma Hirayya Mannewar. Along with her profound educational vision, Smt. Narsamma had one sacred condition for the 12 acres of prime land she generously donated to the trust: a Shri Ram Panchayatan Mandir must be built upon it.
A "Panchayatan" is a sacred grouping of five divine figures from the Ramayana. It consists of Lord Rama, his consort Goddess Sita, his three brothers (Lakshmana, Bharata, and Shatrughna), and his devoted companion Lord Hanuman. Seated together in divine harmony, they represent the highest ideals of righteousness, loyalty, devotion, and unity. However, beyond its spiritual significance, the Ram Panchayatan offers a profound and timeless inspiration for education and learning.
At its core, the Panchayatan teaches us that true greatness is never achieved in isolation. Just as Lord Rama relied on the unwavering support of his brothers and the devoted service of Hanuman, a student's educational journey is enriched by collaboration, mentorship, and mutual respect. The bond between the brothers reminds us that peers must lift each other up, sharing knowledge and offering emotional support rather than viewing education as a solitary or cutthroat competition.
Furthermore, Lord Hanuman's presence at the feet of Lord Rama serves as a powerful lesson in intellectual humility. Hanuman possessed immense strength and wisdom, yet he remained utterly devoted and humble. This teaches students that knowledge without humility leads to arrogance, and that the ultimate purpose of education is not personal gain, but the service of society.
Finally, Lord Rama and Goddess Sita, seated together on the throne, embody Dharma—righteousness and duty. Their presence at the center of the Panchayatan inspires our institution to prioritize value-based education, ensuring that our students develop strong character, ethical integrity, and a deep sense of social responsibility alongside their academic achievements. In this way, the Ram Panchayatan serves as a divine blueprint for creating an educational ecosystem that is collaborative, humble, and purpose-driven.
The Guiding Spirit
Smt. Narsamma Hirayya Mannewar was an illiterate woman from Amravati, yet her vision for society was profound and expansive. Despite never having received a formal education herself, she possessed a wisdom that transcended books. In her old age, during her late sixties, she made a monumental decision: to donate her 12 acres of land for educational purposes. She observed that education was the urgent need of the time, and she envisioned a future where a sprawling educational campus would serve various walks of life. Though she was illiterate, her gesture was that of a truly great literate soul.
Due to certain technical reasons, the trust officially gained this land in the late 1980s. However, her generosity was not limited to education alone. Alongside her educational vision, she had one sacred condition for the land she donated: a Shri Ram Panchayatan Mandir must be built upon it. She firmly believed that this temple would serve as a spiritual foundation, inspiring both education and society for generations to come.
We bow before her. Her selfless sacrifice and extraordinary foresight remain the bedrock upon which our institution stands today. We remain eternally grateful for her gift, which continues to illuminate the lives of countless students.

It is with immense pride and a deep sense of responsibility that I welcome you to the Smt. Narsamma Hirayya Shaikshanik Trust. Since our establishment in 1963, our journey has been guided by a singular, sacred vision: to illuminate lives through the lamp of knowledge, as embodied in our motto, "Prajvalito Gyanamayah Pradeepah."
Our foundation is built upon the extraordinary sacrifice of our founder, Smt. Narsamma Hirayya Mannewar. An illiterate woman with an extraordinary foresight, she donated 12 acres of prime land with the firm belief that education is the greatest equalizer. Her only condition—to build a Shri Ram Panchayatan Mandir on the campus—reflects her profound understanding that true education must be rooted in cultural values and ethical integrity.
Today, as we stand as a comprehensive educational complex serving thousands of students from primary schooling to advanced research, we remain committed to her vision. Our mission is threefold: to harmonize traditional Indian values with cutting-edge technology, to foster sustainable practices that protect our environment, and to create opportunities that empower every section of society.
As we look to the future, our resolve grows stronger. We are proud to announce two transformative upcoming projects. The Late Shri Gajananrao Rahatgaonkar Memorial Auditorium, a state-of-the-art 450-seat solar-powered facility, is scheduled for completion in December 2026. It will house the Bharatiya Gyan Abhyasik (Indian Knowledge Center), a competitive exam preparation center, and an art gallery. Further, we are embarking on an ambitious venture to establish India's first Marathi-medium CBSE school, Navbharat Gurukulam, set to launch in the 2027-28 academic year. This institution will uniquely blend traditional Indian knowledge systems with modern STEM disciplines, including AI, Robotics, and Space Technology.
I invite you to join us in this sacred journey of shaping not just successful careers, but citizens with national consciousness, responsibility, and cultural rootedness. Together, let us continue to build an educational ecosystem that serves as a cultural lighthouse for generations to come.

We embrace the concept of Panch Parivartan — five transformations for bringing positive change to society — and resolve to follow them. The five key dimensions are:
GAIL (India) Ltd.
Donor of the 80 kW solar system
Our 10-acre campus brings together modern academic facilities, open sports grounds and green initiatives.
Our 10-acre campus boasts an impressive 27,000 square feet of modern academic infrastructure designed to facilitate optimal learning experiences. The facilities include classrooms, laboratories, research centres, advanced science and computer laboratories, and a library. Our campus encourages a plastic-free environment, reuse of paper, rainwater conservation, the use of solar energy to reduce our carbon footprint, and awareness about green and sustainable energy.
We have established the Narsamma Sports Committee to enhance games and sports facilities. We encourage games and sports among our students and the society around the campus. The ground and the walking and running track are open and free to use for the people around the campus.
Environmental stewardship forms a core principle of our campus operations, exemplified by our 105 kW rooftop solar plant, of which 80 kW was donated by GAIL India. This installation, complemented by 30 solar-powered streetlights, provides clean energy. We maintain a strict plastic-free policy across campus, and our students are sensitised to use plastic responsibly. Our paper reuse programme has achieved particular success and has been appreciated by NAAC and other authorities. These initiatives collectively contribute to our recognition as a green campus while serving as practical lessons in sustainability for our students.
